The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is inexpensive, frequently leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.

But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have actually risen the price of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In a region that has among the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing too, already their client-list includes McDonald's.
